What type of computer do you have? A desktop or a laptop? Most laptops now a days have built in wifi adapters. If you have desktop then you may need a wireless adapter to be installed into it. You can get a wireless network adapter to be inserted into one of the pci slots inside the computer. Or, you can simply get a wireless usb adapter to be connected to the USB port of your computer.

Hope this helps!

First off I believe the usb port on the back of that access point is for management only, and will not connect a device...not positive though. If this gateway is not itself a wireless access point. The best thing you can do is purchase a wireless router/switch. In this configuration you would plug the gateway you received from Time Watner into the new router, Then you can plug any wired device directly into the new router, as well as broadcast your own secure wireless network. A good recommendation would be a D-LINK HD1000 Media router. It is very versatile, not to mention I just picked one up from EBAY for 19.99 with free shipping, took a little while to arrive though. But any router would work, I only suggest a wireless router because of the versatility, and I suggested the HD1000 because it is equipped with a usb port and SD card slot for sharing media(pictures, videos, music, printers...ect..) across your entire network. Hope this helps.

Connect toshiba 4025cdt to wifi

To connectyour computer to a wireless router, you click the Refresh networklist, then Choose your wireless network and then click Connectto your secured Wireless Network, it will asks for a Network Keybefore allowing you to connect into your wireless network. This NetworkKey is either the WEP, or WPA or WPA2 Encryption key that is used toconfigure the Wireless Router. The Passphrase is an alternate way tosetup the Encryption key.
When you are requested for a Network Key, you can just enter the Passphrasethat was used to configure the Encryption key in the wireless router.http://www.fixya.com/support/r5270415-network_password_network_addressFor information on securing your wireless network, configuring the wireless router and configuring the wireless card in thelaptop/computer, please click on this link and follow my instructions :-http://www.fixya.com/support/r3559128-wireless_router_security

Hi, we have a toshiba S1800-254 computer and need to make it wireless, so we were wondering what card to use what to do with it and where we can we buy one ?

Seeing as how its an older laptop, your best option would be to get a wireless USB G network adapter, it plugs into a USB port on your laptop, then get a wireless G router to match up with your wireless G Network USB adapter. Stick with Belkin if you can since they have been reliable from my own experience. Get a Belkin Wireless G Router and a Belkin wireless G USB Network Adapter. At that point you'll have wireless access and it will run you under $100 dollars.

I have a ZONET wireless router but don't know how to get my computer to read it

Your computer needs to have a network card to plug into the router 1st, using a CAT 5E network cable, so that you can access the configuration screen or if you have the software for the router you can use the USB port and install it like a peripheral device.

Try using http://10.0.0.1 to access the configuration screen using your internet browser

Once your wireless network is up you need to have a wireless network card in your PC so that you can access the wireless network.

No ethernet port on older Dell desktop

Yes, all you need is a PCI ethernet card. You can pick them up rather cheap. Here is one. You basically plug it into an available PCI port on the inside of your computer. If XP doesn't automatically install it, just insert the included CD with the drivers on it and XP will do the rest. And remember to please give this answer a good rating of fixya. Thanks.
