PROBABLY IT HAS A POWER SWITCH SELECTOR ITS BACK. IT'S NOT WRITTEN WHICH POWER SYSTEM SIDE, BUT IT'S WRITTEN ON INSTRUCTION MANUAL. SO YOU CAN SELECT TRUE POWER REGION AND IT IS ABLE TO WORK ON REGION..

I purchased a LH D6230A system in Malayisa. When i got back to Canada and tried to use it i noticed it was 220 volts, 50 Hz. which we don,t have in Canada. Our power is 120 volts ,60 Hz. What i'm looking for is a main transformer for this unit so i can use it in Canada. Is there a place in Canada or the US where i can purchase this transformer...maybe you can give me a part # for it. Thank You Kindly Charlie DeG.

Battled to get all speakers working when I bought it.
Salesman 'fixed' this, but didn't give instruction manual back.
Now I have an intermittent problem. Basically:-
DVD mode: plays, but sometimes skips or hangs.
CD's: plays then same as above - hangs.
Sometimes plays 12 tracks then starts skipping.
Sometimes plays for 42 seconds.
Sometimes plays for 1 min 21 seconds.
Assume it is overheating, but as I said then why doesn't it do so on the DVD & why does the run time differ before hanging? Can play a whole DVD without any problems sometimes.
No display of tracks on TV screen, yet cd spinning.
Sometimes makes awful sound when ejecting almost as if it is still spinning when it opens & then scrapes disc.
Initially I assumed it was a drirty lens causing the problem.
I tried cleaning the discs first, then a number of cd & dvd lens cleaners to no avail. (CD Warehouse's house brand dvd/vcd/cd-rom/cd cleaner & Philips DVD lens cleaner-SVC520)
Help please!
