TV Suddenly Stopped Working With No Warning Signs Of Impending Failure

My tv was working fine the night before & when I came to switch it on again, it did nothing else but illuminate the red power light and the green light started flashing, ( this green light is above the time clock icon ). Any idea's?

Same problem on my 46WH08 which uses the c00p chasis. The shutdown circuit is not allowing 5v on pin 16 which would fire the unit. If I short 15&16 together then it fires up ok.

Toshiba have a fault finding guide but there is a second one that describes my issue and that is missing. C00p chasis fault finding guide 2.

I had the same problem and was advised...

Check the 2amp pico fuse at F470 and if open replace it and Q404 2sc5570 the HOT (horizontal output transistor).. If not open check HOT for short EtoB and inspect the solder connections of Q801 in the SMPS.
If any of that sounds greek you need to take it to a shop or find someone handy with a meter and a soldering gun that can do the work for you.

If you've had yours fixed can you please let me know as mine is still not working

After switching off and on last night the volume and mute on stopped responding on Humax remote. IT is PVR9150T and remote RT531B. TV Remote works fine with volume. Humax remote works fine on all exce

Note that this type of device is designed to be left on at all times, so should not be switched off each night. I suspect that it has some slight corruption in the user-settings, so a factory reset may be required.

Sound through only one speaker

Check the other speaker which do not work. In most cases, the speaker is found faulty. If so, replace it with a similar one.

The sound on my TV has suddenly stopped working

check all wires are firmly in place, especially the scart lead, and just give them a little push to make sure, if that doesnt work, try unplugging your tv from the mains and wait 5 mins, plug it back in, wait another 5 mins, and turn on, if that doesnt work, contact the company's customer service line.

Please connect the cable connections and cable again. Best way is to switch off both the machines. Wait for sometime. Reconnect them and switch on. It should work if no part is damaged.

LE26R74BDX TV Not responding to Remote

there is a easier way to check your remote.
Open your radio on AM frequencies, you don't need to be tuned just noise is perfect, then bring your remote near the antenna and press some button. You will ear the frequency in your radio. If it works this way but not on the TV make sure to press the TV button before using it (if the remote is universal).

Volume and mute buttons suddenly stopped working

Try changing the batteries. Most times the "tivo" buttons will work but the "tv" buttons will stop working when the batteries are low.

If you have done that, go back into settings and program the remote again for your tv, then give it a shot.
