Windows XP is unable to install the T sonic 610 automatically. It reads it but then asks for the location of the drivers. Am connecting through the USB and am sure that the USB drive is working as its recogonizing my digital camera without any issues and no drivers needed there. I also tried installing the firmare update from the T Sonic website to no avail. Have lost all hope. Please help. I have an Windows XP F1 partition on my PC (Office laptop). Could this be the issue? Please help
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
T.sonic cannot operate after it was formatted in Windows
Formatting T.sonic using the “Quick Format” or “Full Format” option in Windows destroys the
default format of the T.sonic. To retrieve the default format, you must link to
http://www.transcendusa.com/ and download the firmware updates for the T.sonic.
