I have been trying to synch my SanDisk MP3 player to Rhapsody, but have been unsuccessful. I've followed the instructions given by Sansa, and it worked once, but now it doesn't seem to synch up. All the music that I have downloaded is from Rhapsody Music. When I turn on the MP3 player, it states "Your Subscription has expired, connect to your PC." When I try to play a song, it states "Synchronize to continue your music subscription." I have checked with Rhapsody and I do have a music subscription that is active.

plug in the mp3 player to the computer using a usb cable provided for you when you bought the mp3 player. then it will recognize that as new hardware and it will install the software for it. then you can synch it with rhapsody or windows media player 11. its simple. once you plugged it into your computer open up windows media player then click on copy to cd or a device (on the older versions) or synch (newer version) and then it will copy all of your selected songs into the player for you
If you let your subscription to Rhapsody expire, you will get this message. If you didn't let your subscriptino expire then you will need to synch the files from Rhapsody itself back onto the player - the licenses have to be renewed once a year for some songs - once a month for others. If your subscriptino ever expires, you can no longer use the songs.
The "synchronize files to continue" is annoying, and you are likely to get it again. If the music files on your player came from Rhapsody, the short-term solution is to re-synch the files through Rhapsody itself. If your subscription to Rhapsody, Overdrive, etc. ever expires, you will also get this message. The only long-term way around this problem is to only load songs that are in mp3 format (Rhapsody has an Mp3-Only subscription, which is different from its regular subscription; Limewire is another choice - but it is prone to have viruses, and some ISPs will cut off your broadband if you use the service). If you wanted to erase all songs and start over from scratch, you could update the firmware on the player - it will have the side effect of erasing everything on the player.
Umm..try to format the device sing the device itself or windows media player...if that doesnt work..You can try to reset the device by pressing the power button for about 15 to 20 seconds..if that doesnt work I would recommend you to go to the sandisk site to update the firmware on your device or you can contact sandisk to they can help you with updating the firmware on your device..Please follow the link below to get the firmware http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/Default.aspx?CatID=1376

You could try opening the folder(s) with your saved music and highlight all the ones you want to transfer to your mp3 player and then right click on one of the highlighted files, left click on Copy, then go to My Computer > Sansa e250 mp3 player should be listed in there, double click on it, then right click in a open white area and left click Paste. It should copy the music right to your player. You could also try using Rhapsody and import your music into it. I use Rhapsody for transferring music to my e250 Sansa mp3 player.
