Sony hmd-a400 monitor

My Sony HMD-A400 monitor which is connected to my Sony Vaio computer has been acting weird for sometime now and I have to always leave it on. If I turn the monitor off for say 10 minutes or longer, this is when I have the problem. It turns on ok but has about 6 white lines that go from bottom left and angle up towards top right. They stay there for sometime and after it is on for say 5 minutes, everything is fine. But, if I don't wait for at least 30 minutes, when I try to get on the internet, only the monitor shuts completely off and the only way to make it come on is to unplug just the monitor for several seconds and plug back in. I may have to do this several times before it stays. It seems like it has to warm up before it will stay on.

Next time you get it running, right click my computer>properties>hardware tab>device manager and look for your monitor on the 'Monitors' '+' sign and right click>delete. Also check 'Display adapter' see if the correct driver is displayed. Re- boot and let Windows re-install monitor driver(it should list it as 'Sony')

the clicking sound inside the monitor says that there is a signal coming from the computer. but if the computer video card is bard you never get picture. Yes this is fixable , sometimes some capacitors busted inside your desktop and have to be replaced or the video card is bad. depending of your computer tech experience , replacing capacitors is easy for experienced tech as me. if the video card is died there is a way to put in another video card.Go ahead check with your local computer tech,He will help you

I hooked the sony hmda400 to a asus computer and cant get any sound from the monitor. Help!

This monitor doesn't have speakers. You need to use a separate audio connection - from the Line out of your Asus to the input of a separate audio amplifier.

Hi:
The problem is not your monitor, but most likely your video card in your tower, or possibly that you don't have the proper driver installed for your video card.
Most of the video problems are driver issues, so if you can't display all of your colors, check that first, and if you need help , re ask a question with the info from your video card!

on the back of your equipment , there a small piece of paper where you can find all that information. Power= Voltage x current , you will see for 12VDC and 2.5 A . then multiply the two . that is simple

Dxlb-19 screen adjustment My monitor has worked perfectly for years but has now started flashing up the on screen adjustment main menu panel. But I can't do anything with it as it disappears again just as quickly and I can't remember what the four silver buttons to the left of the identical power on/off button do.
