I am trying to assist an individual in how to resolve a problem he has with his Explorer 320 headset being used with the Sanyo Katana 6600 handset. The problem he's encountering is that though he's successfully completed the pairing of these two devices, everytime he turns the phone off and back on, or loses signal and drops a call, he has to go back and re-pair the two devices. This is very inconvient! Any suggestions on how to correct this problem?

Once you make your cell phone discoverable, put the Plantronics
Explorer 320 headset into pairing mode by holding the call control button until
the headset flashes red and blue. Here is the link for the
Explorer 320 User's Guide with the pairing instructions.
It is possible that the internal battery in the Plantronics Explorer 320
is just worn out, it is an older headset and has been out there for
years. The Plantronics M20 would be a good replacement to check out.
Remember that newer phones are like small computers, so they may become
corrupt over time and you may need to reset them every so often. Simply
turn your phone off and remove again the battery for a few seconds,
then replace the battery and turn it back on again. If this does not
resolve the issue, delete any pairing information for your Explorer 320
headset and pair it again with your phone, carefully following the
instructions on the link below for the Plantronics Explorer 320.
