Amazing allysen takes two sets of batteries. When you open up her back you will see where you replace 4 AA batteries. If you open up the littel doors UNDER the AA's there is a space for 3 AAA's. That might be a solution.

I can tell you this if you find the switch that is on Amanda back this turns her on. You must be in a quiet room. You have to touch her one of her hands to make her speak.
