We can get to the menu and the guide but because of the continous changing of the channels we cannot get it to stop on anything to make the changes such as Language, etc. We have looked through the other problems and could not find one such as ours. We do have the TV unplugged and are awaiting info hopefully from you to help us. Thanks Tadpole

I have seen this befor, 1st. take batteries out of remote to make sure that no buttons on the remote is causing this problem. If the problem presists then the fault is the buttons on the front of the tv.power, vol,ch, etc. if one is bad I replace them all. if you can remove the front board, ( it usually clips in and out hard, try not to break the clips) if the wire/cable dissconnects you can take it somewhere that sells switches. the originals are $5.00 to $10.00 each, price adds up fast. or replace one at a time & take your chance. good luck.

I have a lio pdp42010ea1 and have quit the tv services and now want to learn how to search the air and find the channels that are on channels 5, 24 ect.I also need to know if you have to have a tv antena...

Unless your television comes with an auto tuner you will need to attach an antenna.

If you do have an autotuner...go into your menu of the television. Look for setup/settings and find input option...make sure this says antenna or auto tuner, they usually start the scan automatically or just press enter/select to start.

You should be all set:)

I just bought a new dynex 32 inch that did not come with a manual. I attached the cable into the correct area however I am still unable to see my cable channels even when changing the input. What am I...

Check this link to download the user's guide or quick setup guide. Press menu > channel, go down to TV source change it to cable and go down to auto scan and press > to start programing the channels into the LCD memory.

My brightness and contrast keeps on changing continously. please solve it.

I'm not sure what you mean by your problem. Do these keep changing by themselves at random?

I would first borrow another monitor and see if the problem is the same. If not, then your monitor is going bad.
There should be a reset button on the monitor--perhaps a menu item on the monitor menu--that says to reset the monitor values. That might work, but the symptoms you are describing are pointing to either the power inverter or the circuit board on the monitor.

hi there, i have the LG 50in Plasma and just updated the channel connection by doing the following:

1. Make sure your remote is in "TV" mode.
1. Press the Menu button.
2. Highlight "Auto-program" (Should be the first item on the Menu)
3. Scroll over to "To Start" and press OK.

The TV will automatically search for all available analogue, digital and HD signals and may take a few minutes.
Once complete, it will return to the last program you were on and you will find all channels available.

To check the guide or the time, you need to press the "guide" button. Make sure your remote is in "TV" mode. Alternatively, pressing OK at any time shows you the time and channel that you are on.

Hope that helps!
