How to change the the language on a eclipse avn5502d

How I can change language of eclipse AVN 550 HD.

check that the unit has a menu section and if so there will be a language drop down section--select English and save change. I would try on line for your model and make and see if the maps are available there as a download.

Basically, as they said: The clock is set by the GPS. The unit needs to be On.

Yes there is a way to change the language to any one you would like... one way is to call eclipse and have them change it for you are go into the menu option and mess around till you find it... i have the AVN7000 so my menu is different from yours so im not 100% sure which one it is for you...
