Windex between screens

I went and cleaned my screen and i had a cloud like image on the screeen. can u help??

If the cloud like image is black then you have damaged your screen by applying too much pressure on the screen.
You should use special LCD screen spray and soft cloth to clean your screen to gently clean the surface of the screen.
Replacement :CD screen maybe available for your laptop from this WEB site.

Do I need to clean the screen on a DLP television? I have only changed the bulb. I feel like the picture is getting less sharp.
Not the screen so much as the projection mirror which is located on the rear wall of the Set. If the mirror gets dull it can make the picture dim and dull looking. Cleaning the mirror will help. Some models have a small mirror which projects the image back onto the rear mirror. Dont use windex, just a damp cloth then dry good.

How to clean a toshiba tv screen model # 50a62
snap off the fron cover its pretty tight so kind of pull hard dont worry it wont break its just snaped on tightly, after uncrew 3 screws under the screen lift up and pull out screen there will be 2 wires attached to screen, unplug them to set screen to side. dust off the projectors with dry rag, then clean mirror with windex or any window cleaning product. u are done cleaning front of Toshiba, put everything back together, then unscrew the bottom back and vaccum any dust balls u will see inside T.V. u r now done! let me know how it went.

My nephew spray windex on my dlp tv and not is in between both screens n it black but you can move the water still with your fingers
Well I'll say this. There has been no damage done yet. The problem is that the windex has wicked up in between the Lenticular screen and the Fresnel lens screen. If you attempt to seperate both screens yourself then I can guarentee you will damage both screens.
Not cheap to replace both screens. The screens CAN be cleaned with a screen cleaner from Screen Clean but the real problem is finding a Highly qualified technician who has done this many times before. The Fresnel lens screen is EXTREMELY soft and has tiny ridges that damage very very easily and you will see permenant black streaks in the picture. Never use Windex,Amonia or 409 and the like cleaners on the screens. When you use a screen cleaner, spray the cleaner on a MICRO cloth (Very Soft) then carefully clean the scree. Like I said, the screens can be cleaned safely only by a Highly skilled technician. The black spots from the windex will not eventually go away. Contact the tv manufacture as they can direct to a authorized service center they trust.

Hi, dealer cost on the screen assy. is $290 plus s&h which is probably about $45, been quite awhile since I ordered one so not sure on s&h. You may be able to seperate the 2 screens and clean it up depending on what caused the mark, be advised you clean these with warm water and a LITTLE dish detergent . NEVER use windex or any other chemical type cleaner. rub gently straight down on front screen and in a circular motion on the inside screen. Before seperating the 2 screens mark both of them with a piece of tape at the top edge so they go back together exactly as you took them apart or the image will be all blurred, hope this helps, video-tek

Please do not use Windex. Use Anti-Static Monitor Wipes for LCD screens. Using Windex or other cleaning solutions like it will cause streaks on your screen. Damp cloths have the same effect as Windex.

try the following:
try first of all to clean the screen using a wet towel because the problem might be that the windex has made a dark layer on the screen ...
if this does not work then if u have a vacum machine that can can get the screen dry by blowing air on it...this might work
if not then you have to send it back to the manufacure

I dont recomend any liquid near electronics but a humidify damp cloth is enouf to clean that any way your produc will not damage the screen...good luck and rate me
