I cannot print full speed from hp laserjet 4350 as before, now very slow,i checked hp support site about this problem and they resolved this problem it was relavent to paper size bar but i cannot find paper size bar ,where can it be? any idea?
Look on the left side of the tray. There should be 3 white fingers that stick out. Make sure they aren't broken or out of place. Also slide the paper size lever and make sure they work properly.
There is also a custom and standard switch.
Try to print out of the MP tray(fold down tray). If it prints normal speed, you probably have a problem with the tray.

Press the green button (with the "check" sign on it), then press the "down" arrow button four times.
The display should read "configure device".
Press the green button again.
Press the down arrow one time? until you see "printing".
Press the green button.
Scroll down to "copies"... it probably reads "3".
Set it back to "1" and then press the green arrow button.
If the printer is processing jobs slow, especially for PDF's before they come out of the printer it's probably a printer memory issue. To test, send the print job at a lower resolution. If that works then you can just print jobs at that resolution or install more memory. If the print jobs are coming out of the printer slow then your printer settings may be set to the highest resolution of pro res instead of the default fast res which cuts the printer speed in about half.
Check and remove the HDD and try it for a while. Replace the jet direct card and try (if you have one installed) and try. Update the firmware. If that fails then someone is sending a corrupt file\print job to the printer.
