I've had my speakers for 3 months and they've worked fine. Then a week ago they just suddenly completely stopped working. I can't even hear it w/ headphones. I've made sure that volume control settings are fine and that mute is unchecked. When I checked the Sound and Volume Settings on my Control Panel, the speakers listed were the old ones I had before these speakers. I've checked all the connections and tried unplugging the speakers multiple times, but nothing seems to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Check the sound card system Can your hear through headphones for example?

Having problems with my logitech speakers. They were working fine and then one day it they were not. I put in a new sound card thinking that might work fixed the dead pixels but not the sound. Any suggestions?
for no reason whatsoever, my speakers stopped working. connected different speakers, still nothing. spent hours on google, tried 30 different fixes, nothing. says i need so install multimedia controller. wtf? tried, but apparently not contained in xp. no codecs have fixed it. *blows head off*
Well I got almost the same problem, I plugged in my boxes and no sound at all, I updated my audio driver. My headphones do give sound. I got Windows XP and still it won't work
