Need a user guide for BellSouth 1080 Two Way Radios. Anyone know where to download one?

It should. 15 channels = 7 FRS, 8 GMRS. Those are all the frequencies available. The problem could come from setting the "tone" or privacy codes. Make certain those all match and they will talk. The 1080 has 38 privacy codes, I cannot find the 2280. Typically the 22 would mean higher power.

Try Google. Those radios were made for BellSouth by another company and the manuals should be available if you can find out what the company was.

First you have to remove the belt clip from the bacside of the radio,. Then there is a small clip at the botom of the radio that you snap open in order to remove the back of the radio where the batteries are at.Hope that this hlps

bellsouth model 2730 beeping noise have bellsouth hand held radios, model 2730, but when the person who is talking to the other person lets the push to talk button out the other persons radio makes a beeping noise, trying to get rid of that beeping at the end. does this model have this capability to change this ? thanks.
