Two months ago I was shooting on a short crocodile boat tour in Florida, well the guide thought it would be great to do a 180 in the middle of Everglades swamp as I was lining up a sweet shot!! Funny Guy!! Result being, I nearly slid out of the boat to become aligator food and the camera was nearly drenched. It got pretty wet, but was NOT submerged or soaked. I assumed that a high tech little piece of quality innovation could take this, provided I dried it our thoroughly, which I did. Ever since I have not been able to take more than 6 pics without the battery going flat. Steps I have taken to overcoem this 1. DAYS on the charger. Literally, I realized the only way to get ANY pics was to charge it constantly, so its always on the charger now. 2. I bought a new battery. No change, still goes flat after 10 or so shots, or being off the charger for more than an hour. PLease help!!
Camera + water is like wicked witch in Wizard of Oz. You are going to have to send your camera in and see if they can save it.
