Last 7 digits of the serial number for the Sony PCG series laptop can be entered at the web page shown to generate a new code.

https://bios-pw.org/

For other models, with VGN shown below, after entering the wrong password 3 wrongl times, a number appears.

[SONY]
Sony PCG series can be unlocked by last 7 digit from serial number
Sony VGN-A series after 3 tries it generate random xxxx - 4-hex code
Sony VGN other series after 3 wrong tries it generate random 5x4 code, do not turn off laptop until get master password
For example: Sony VAIO VGN-SZ22 [268r-dkxj-38j7-9j2k] password: 33637436

If you enter the number in the web site below, it generates a code for you to use.

Let us know if this works for you.

Mitsubishi tv

I can help you unlock your Mitsubishi HDTV V-Chip.

Please follow these steps to bypass the vchip or reset the V Chip password.

These steps are actually for a Mitsubishi Projection HDTV, but I think they may work for a Mitsubishi LCD HDTV too.

I hope that helps.

Resetting the v-chip password so i can remove it and watch all that i want

I had the same problem. Here's what Toshiba emailed to me:

  1. Disconnect the AC power for at least one minute to reset the clock.
  2. Adjust the volume to the minimum using the Volume down button on the front of the unit.
  3. Press and hold the Volume down button on the front of the unit and the 0 button on the remote control at the same time, holding them down for at least 10 seconds.
  4. The user menu will appear with the V-Chip cursor blinking.
  5. Press the ENTER key on the remote control and the NEW PASSWORD menu will appear.
  6. Enter your new password.
Hope that helps!!
