My model AWRC-1G works fine except no antenna.
1: How do I open the case? I removed the 3 obvious screws but wouldn't open.
2: I assume when I get inside the wiring would be obvious or do I need a schematic.
Thanks ..Bob
My antenna connector came off as well. After removing the two screw fron the back (on top), open the CD cover and remove the large screw at the front of the compartment. Now flip the unit over with the front of unit toward you. Insert a small flat screw driver between the cover and the botom on either side. There are two large tabs (either side) on the botom. pry away and up. Flip over and remove the cover. Careful of the ribbon cable inside, it is long enough to lift and flip the cover.
INSTALLATION
Channel Master by PCT indoor antennas are designed to provide optimum reception of
UHF / VHF and FM signals. These antennas have 75 ohm outputs, which allow simple,
hassle-free connections to today's newer TV sets that have 75 ohm F type connector
inputs.
Simply attach one end of the supplied 6' cable with F connectors to the output of the
antenna (Fig.1). Attach the other end of the cable to the input of the TV set or VCR
(Fig. 2). Some adjustment of the antenna might be necessary for optimum viewing.
Model CM-4030 includes a built-in amplifier and separate power supply.
1. Follow the same steps as above for antenna to TV / VCR hookup. Note : Model
CM-4030 also allows for two set / VCR hookups with its unique dual output feature.
2. Insert the power injector into the back of the antenna (Fig. 3). Plug in the power
transformer to the closest electrical outlet (Fig. 4).

I have the same problem with my AWRC-1P. I'm trying to get inside to look at a fuse. I removed the two screws in the back and the one on the inside of the cd deck, but when I lift up from the back there still seems to be something on the inside that's holding the front down.
I need to solder a antenna fitting to to the back of radio but have no clue at what points to solder at. Please help !
