As previous posting, my machine does not release any water during any cycle and does not spin. I have had the pump off the clear any blockage and found a curtain hook in it, which has been removed. Cleaned the pump and put back in the machine. It washed a couple of washes fine then packed up again. Re:
Possible your outlet filter is blocked. After disconnecting electrical input from wall socket, remove the back panel of washer to see if the pipe from the tub is blocked, clear, also check the outlet filter, clean.
If u have the users' manual check how to clean your outlet filter

Old Navy wants too much for free . we diyers learn by doing for our selves .when I can not fix I either junk it and get new or call the local repair service to have it cat least checked out .
many machine spin a full tub as they are pumping the water out
this helps to even out the washing load and reduce the unbalance situation
when the water is removed , the machine progresses the program to a high speed spin
call a technician as there may be a problem in the program board
Long shot, but does it fill the same as when new? I would check the atmospheric switch which is a hollow tube that runs down the inside of the drum(not in the wash cage) when the water fills, It pushes air up to stop the fill. It may have gotten clogged. Or partially clogged.
I just fixed a F&P GW612. There was a darning needle stuck in the drain motor pump stopping the propeller from spinning around. I fixed it for my mum by watching a couple of You Tube videos. Easy job to do. Took me about 1.5 hours including drawing out the water from the drum with a bucket & jug first. Lay the machine on a soft mat, remove the motor pump from underneath, clean it out. (You could find a foreign object such as a coin, cloth, rubber band etc.) Put it back together & test if it's pumping out water at the rince cycle by doing a low water wash cycle. So happy, job done & I saved my mum some money!!
Try looking to see if the little motor is spinning the drain pump. It is in the bottom right. Occasionally I get a small metal shard which locks the pump and therefore-no draining. You can undo everything and check the pump for blockage. Then if need be, replace the mechanisim. The parts are all on line, as is the manual. or call 800 776-3538
most new washers have cold water only rinse and spray rinse ck cold water coming into machine during wash if no cold comes in suspect cold side of fill vale not opening ..could be wiring issue or a bad valve
Check your outlet filter, most likely it is blocked, preventing the water from draining out. Chk your pump too. Before this disconnect from the wall socket; and also check the pipe coming from the tub to the filter. Siphon out the excess water from inside the machine before you open the pipes.
