I am having trouble getting the machine started after pushing the select washer buttons.Right now the regular washer button is on and will not go off,I can keep pressing the casual button on and off rapidly and finally get it started only on that cycle, no other choice,if I press the cancel/stop button it reverts back to the regular wash button light, the stop button does not turn off all the lights. I ordered and replaced both boards, and the same problem exists. Sure would appreciate any help. thanks, Jonsey
Jonsey, sounds like you have a keypad issue here. Do this test: press the following keys in this order soak-cycle signal-soak-cycle signal. If done right the display should show dt. Now press start, all the led's will light up. Now test them by pressing each one, you should hear a beep for each one. If some of them are not responding, check the P-11 and P-12 harness on the control board. You can also put this machine in the automatic test mode by pressing the keypads in this order; soak-soil level-soak-soil level. The display will start counting down from 99 to 0 testing different aspects of the machine. Any errors will be shown in the display. Catriver..post back.
Make sure dial is switched
to 'off'. Unplug your machine, then plug
it back in. Hold down the rinse and delay buttons with one hand. With the other
hand, switch the dial from off to cold or warm or whatever cycle you want. All the buttons flash a few times, then just
the start button flashes. If if doesn't work, do it again.
To get the clothes out if
you are having trouble, open door manually. Near the bottom of this cover is a small
hole. Insert a piece of wire into this hole, and push in gently. While pushing,
turn the cover clockwise, it will came off. The door release is a narrow white plastic
strip hanging down on the right; Pull down on this strip while pushing in on
the door, the door lock will release.

I really appreciate your trying to help, but that does not seem
to work,it might if I could get the machine buttons off to start
any cycle, as I mentioned, the regular wash button stays on, I
don't have a choice to make a change,I tried desperately to do
what you suggested but again nothing happens by pressing any of
the buttons including the regular wash button that stays on.I
can't make anything work. With both new electronic boards you
would expect everything would be fine. Any further suggestions
would be greatly appreciated.
