Wireless capability I have purchased a PIXMA MP170/MP150 printer/copier/scanner. The Circuit City clerk advised me that it would be compatible with an interface to provide wireless printing from my laptop. But nothing in the User's Guide suggests how to set it up for wireless. Can you help? Is this printer capable of wireless connection? Thanks.

Besides service tool, you can use MPTool software to reset Canon printers MP series. This software support for canon MP150, MP160, MP170, MP180, MP450 and MP460.
Reset waste ink counter
To reset waste ink counter at printers canon pixma MP150, MP160, MP170, MP180, MP450 and MP460 there any 2 choice, that is :

• Start with printer on then run this software
• Click Reset Main (main) to reset waste ink counter and then click Reset Platen button (additional)

You can download and install the Canon printer drivers from the

This printer only supports a USB connection it doesn't have any network capability , but if you really like to make this printer to work with your wireless network you can either go get a wireless print server like this one from Linksys WPSM54G so the printer will be working wireless.

There's still hope for your printer. Just download the MP170 update driver support for Windows 7 from your printer manufacturer.

I've already taken the liberty to search the driver for you. Click here. Just put in Windows 7 on "Select OS".
