Dirty copy result even if i replace a new drum

There are small wires that charge the drum to transfer image. Not sure if they are in drum unit or not on this machine. If the transfer chargers are dirty they will cause a dirty or voided copy. Make sure document glass is clean. Unplug machine check for these small wires if dirty gently clean with cotton swab or soft towel. Hope this helps

Dear Sharp Al-2030 Experts: Paper Copies made from the cover-mounted auto-feed system are produced with a full copy-length thin double line separated by an approximately 1 13/16" wide distance. It is...

There is something on your scan glass. If you get lines through the document feeder but not on copies made off the glass then it is a dirty scan glass. There is a thin glass strip where the document feeder feeds the original. Usually something like white out that did not dry smears off an original and ends up on this thin strip of glass. Scratch it off with your finger nail and use some glass cleaner to resolve the problem. The scan glass is about 1/2 an inch to an inch wide and will be on the same side of the machine that the copier feeds the originals in on. Once the glass is clean your problem is solved!

Black line is present when copying document; not

This sounds as if you have some ink/contamination on the small scaning glass that sits to either the left or right of the main glass on the copier.(Depending on the model/make)As your original is scanned over this thin piece of glass the scanning device will see any spots and this will result in a black line down the page.Please clean the glass with a soft rag.

Blank area on copies

Hello sir; There have two things to check it;
1. check the developer unit see the brush they build up is evenly.
2. have a piece glass under the toner unit, pull it out and clean it.

Copy is smearing from top to bottom on left side of paper about 1 inch wide.

The print in the smudged area, does it wipe off the page like not fused well to the paper. Do you also have a crinkling noise, if so the sleeve in the fixing assembly has torn. You may still have it under warranty with canon and can get it fixed for free.
Good luck

Xerox 6115

If this only happens when you use the Doc Feeder.. Clean the Slit_Glass, the little piece of glass next the large glass. Clean with a lint free cloth and alcohol.

If this happens when making copies from the main glass, it could be dirty mirrors/ lens, or internal problems.
if this happens when you print something from a PC, it is internal,
which could be a number of things?
something on the charge, the transfer, or your drum could be going and needing replacement, developer dumping, etc etc.
