Make sure the headset is off. iPhone--Settings--Bluetooth---On---Press and hold the answer/end button for approx 5 secs until lite turns sold blue. It works
I was having the same problem and I found another thread that said turn off Auto lock.
Path: Settings----General-----Autolock-----Never.
Go back and try to pair you headset. Make sure that you hold the button until it turns solid green. after you have paired the headset you can go back and change your autolock settings back on.

Hi

No problem. When Jabra is off, press and hold till green light turns blue. On the iPhone: settings, general, bluetooth; switch to on. It will search, then it will list the Jabra BT8040, not paired. Highlight the "not paired" line, and it will start to pair; a few seconds later, it will say "connected".
