Question about Lexmark P4350 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Using plain paper, as it starts to feed it draws down from the right side and then jams. Tried just using one paper at a time and still jams. This Lexmark's P4350 is only 2 weeks new. Any ideas or should I return it?
To be honest mate I am quite gutted myself before I purchased the p4350 I had an x1130, similar printer ie, all in one which lasted for about 3/4 years..but it recently stopped feeding paper. ie.. feeds it in on the right hand side and then gets stuck.. same problem. so I decided to replace it and purchased the p4350.. as i thought the problem was a one off!! But oh no.. i AM VERY SURPRISED THAT AFTER ABOUT A MONTH this printer has done the same thing!! I am hapy yours is too as i know it is not something I am doing wrong!! I can't personally find a solution to the problem. luckily I can replace it easy enough because I got a replacement cover out on it... BUT I won't be changing it for another lexmark! and I am just going to email Lexmark now as their paper feeding mechanism seems very poor as many other people are experiencing the same problems with different Lexmark printers!!

My proposed solution was given to me by a Lexmark Tech. It applies to 4350 and 4850.
1. Under the Control Panel, choose Add Remove Program
2. Repair Microsoft Framework 2.0
3. Load MSCONFIG
4. Choose Selective Startup -- you will need to restart the computer
5. Uncheck Loadup Start Items -- too allow the complete program to load
6. Uninstall Lexmark
7. Reboot
8. Install Lexmark files from support.lexmark.com

I have the same problem, and the printer was just 2 weeks outside of it's warranty. Then it progressed to saying there was a paper jam (there isn't). I have followed all the suggestions theat lexmark emailed me and nothing works... Gutted. Will have to buy a new printer now!!!

There is no other solution other than to get a replacement. i have had three p4350's since February 22nd 2007 to June 2007. they are conning people into buying substandard equipment. they also do not guarantee their work/replacement. the warranty originally 1 year is eroded each time you get a replacement ie as from the day you first purchased it. so believe me when the day my statutory rights come into play i will give lexmark a rougher ride as possible, after which will never buy another lexmark. tom carroll, sunderland

I have the same problem. I bought this Lexmark P4350 All-In-One InkJet Printer at Wallyworld for a decent price but the feeder is gone. I guess that I'll have to buy a new printer.
My printer kept jamming to one side, so as suggested, I cleaned what I could reach with a cotton swab and alcohol, then turned upside down and shook. Found a piece of a lady bug. I was then able to print about ten pages, then the problem started again. I repeated the process, but with no luck. When I turned the printer back on it displayed paper jam, so I shook again. Nothing. Now when you plug it back in, it comes on, acts like it is trying to feed, and then shuts off. It does this repeatedly.
tractor feed grabs paper unevenly, starts to print then jams
