You need to clean out the back vent hole on the dryer and the wall vent, you are keeping the moist hot air in the dryer that needs to be vented out so the dryers not drying like it should, let me know how you do-mike

The blower wheel on these tends to wallow out. That makes the dryer overheat and take twice as long to dry the clothes. Lint begins to build up in the filter housing. Finally the temp exceeds 350 and the round white fuse on the blower housing melts. Boom you has got a dead dryer. To get into the slopefront type dryer seems a bit intimidating bit really is not. Remove the door. The door is reverseable so 2 more screws opposide need to also be removed. Then the goalpost shaped front pops off. Then that reveals the top hold down straps. Remove them and top can be popped. Next you remove the front shroud the drum rides on. then get the drum out. Did I mention you do not work from the back at all on this model? Do not try to fix it in the wash room. Take it ouitside and put it on the picnic table or a tailgate to repair it. You will need a phillips head screwdrivers pliers 1/4 and 5/16 nutdriver and snapring pliers. Shopvac to clean it up and probbaly a new fuse and blower wheel.
yes, it is located on the back right inside of the dryer. 1) unplug dryer 2) open door remove screws 3) with a flat tip screw driver pry gently up on the top corners it will pop 4) move front panel forward and disconnect door switch 5) sit panel aside 6) lift top lid of dryer 90 degrees it has clip/hinged on back 7) look to the right back of dryer, it looks like a spring in a metal box disconnect and replace. Hope this helps Tim
You need to first remove the door (4 screws on the left side and 4 on the right where the door is located (should be philips). Then you need to remove that front frame by removing a bunch of 5/16 screws with a nut-driver. Then the top cover comes right off and then you can remove the belt from the pully and remove the drum. It's kind of complicated but if you do it once or twice, it gets simple. Good luck :)
I suspect you have a blocked air vent. A blocked vent will definitely extend your drying time. You may even find yourself having to run a load twice to get it fully dried. One way to confirm this is to disconnect the vent hose from the back of your dryer and dry one load with the machine venting directly into your laundry room. If that load dries quickly then you know the problem is a blocked vent. Most vents get blocked by lint near their exit to the outside. There's usually a screen at this location to prevent small animals from crawling into your house. Often this screen gets clogged with lint. Most vents are designed to allow removal and cleaning of this screen from the outside.
Sounds more like the dryer drum seal is deteriorating.
If the dryer tumbles the belt is intact.
To access the belt.
Open the door.
Remove 4 screws on right and left side of the door opening.
Raise the door on the hinge side and remove it.
Pull the front panel forward and remove it.
From there you can see what to do next.
You have a choice for which side front door should be on this model. There are 4 screws on front door. Take all 4 screws and pull down the front panel. You will see two metal parts each side which holds top panel. Remove two screws and metal parts. Now you can push up the top panel.
