Our Audiovox 12 volt television shows a white vertical line in the center of the screen when you turn it on. The picture would show and then get to a narrow vertical line. Now there is no picture at all except the white vertical line. Thanks
The vertical output IC or the vertical circuit is whats at fault. its all solid state and im sorry to tell ya that its not a user replaceable part. This set is probably not worth the repair it would take to get this set working again but please if you like ask a ;ocal repair shop what they thought about this problem.. Good Luck and please dont forget to rate this thread

This is a "no horizontal sweep" problem, as in thin vert line--not thin hor line. Problem has been caused by a loose solder connection on the yoke plug on some sets.

I have the exact same problem. The set is 7 years old and I am currently looking for a replacement. I am unsure whether to purchase the same model to make re-installation easier, or to go with something else and modify the mounting to fit.
any suggestions?
Ours is in a 2000 conversion van, about 2 years ago when the TV got warmed up it just popped to a thin vertical line. I bought a little portable DVD player/TV but it broke now and I'd like to either fix this one or find one that will fit the hole.
Picture is faded and I have vertical lines
