Printer keeps skipping lines when printing. very annoying

is this a case of the dots are missing for a valid line, or do you mean a line feed is added at the end of a line, ie you get 3 lines of text occupying 4 lines of space , or 4 lines of text occupies 4 lines of space, but one line has no printed dots on it? to make it more obvious, what does a document with say text thats 3cm tall look like? as it sounds to me like contacts need cleaning.. *** note for info: do not rely on printouts from within a BROWSER as that may have unpredictable results. All text will be treated as a large block of PIXELS and Not TEXT. also Non Printer fonts could cause similar issues.

Not printing, skipping lines and some lines have few words printed and rest of document blank. Tried changing ink, cleaning printhead, and printhead allignment. This is our third Kodak. Each one has had...

call kodak @ 1800 421 6699 and they will replace the printhead for you free of cost.Printhead is the part which holds the cartridges and has 4000 nozzles which sucks ink from cartridges. It Might have gone bad.Kodak recommends its customers to use the printer atleast once a week,Kodak researchers have fixed the issues with printheads, the printheads do not go bad nowadays.Relax ,all the best for future printing.

This seems like a print driver problem. You may have to get an updated driver for your printer for Msoffice 2007.
