Just today, my Razr V3 has announced that it is "Unable to Charge". It's only about 3 months old, I'm using the mains charger, and I have no messages in my mailbox. The phone works fine when attached to the charger, but there seems to be no charge in the battery, so it dies when I take it off the charger.

Any other suggestions would be very much appreciated!

I have the same problem with a regular charger. My phone is frozen with the same message "unable to charge". Nothing seems to work.

Does it say something like "charger not recognized". I remember having this problem with my razor, and it drove me crazy for several days, then it went away and has never returned. I may have also blasted all the txt messages away to help fix it to. Killing all the txt messages seems to help this phone if its acting up. Definitely speeds up the menu operation. Apparently 250 txt messages is its capacity, even though it will store alot more.

My Kindle will not charge

Here's a possibility, I just plugged in my Kindle Paperwhite using the Kindle charger and USB cable. It wouldn't charge.
I kept it plugged in all afternoon and it accepted no charge although it showed the little lightning bolt on the icon suggesting it was charging.

I unplugged the charger (it has two prongs) and reversed it so
the logo was on top and, Lo and Behold it charged. It could be the plug is not omniidirectional (i.e. it is polarized)

I try to charge my razor using my blackberry charger but it wont work it keeps saying "unable to charge" why?

hello,

from explanation this means that you are trying to charge your razor with another phone charger , it will not work out for them self because they are not compatible .

what you need to get your razor phone is the type of his own charger ,but if you can not fine it own charger then you will have to go the store together with your razor phone then will help in locating it own charger that will work for with out any damage on your phone

thank you and thanks for using fixya.

BATTERY UNABLE TO CHARGE, ALTHOUGH PHONE WORKS

Well, the white to pink dot is a sign of water in the phone. It is a moisture indicator and the first thing the repair fols look for so they can deny any claims.

They second thing is you can get an external battery charger for the razor. They run about 5 dollars and allow you to charge the battery seperate from the phone.

Razor is kept shutting off all the time

Did you look at the moister strip on the back of the phone? Take the battery door off and see if the strip is red or pink. If it is, then that is your problem.
