Adesso cybertablet 12000 mouse and pen problem

I bought the adesso cybertablet 12000. I ran the installation as directed on the manual. Although the installation was successful the tablet does not seem to recognize the pen or the mouse. When the tablet is plugged the LED light blinks as it should. But it does not change to a steady green light or anything when the mouse or pen are on top of it. I tried changing the batteries several times for new ones but there is still no signal of them. I am pretty new with tablets... so maybe there's something really simple i'm missing... please help!

I have the same issue, except my tablet will recognise the mouse, but not the pen. I know it's not a battery issue since I removed the battery from the pen and tried it in the mouse and it worked fine - the tablet just doesn't seem to be recognizing the pen.

I had the same problem way back with my wacom tablet. Mine was due to mouseware drivers. Soon as I got rid of them it was fine. So if you have mouseware drivers it may be interfering with the wintab drivers

Pen pressure problem with illustrator

Is there anybody here who is familiar with the Adesso Cybertablet 8600?

First I'll say that despite Adesso being a cheap brand, my tablet has worked great for me for the past two years and I am happy with it. However, I cannot get the tablet's pressure sensitivity to work well in Illustrator CS2. When I go to the brush options, the pressure feature is off. Has anybody else experienced and/or conquered this problem?

My mouse is not working for the adesso cybertablet 6400 but the pen works fine, would you know how to fix this?

most laptops have two parts the mouse touch board and the youch pad one of these will have to be replaced

Suddenly the Pen and the mouse were not being picked up by the computer. Yet it look like the tablet was blinking like it was picking the pen and mouse up.

restart the computer. unplug and plug in, if it still fails folloe these steps:
(Windows XP) START -> (RIGHT CLICK) MY COMPUTER -> PROPITERIES -> (TAB) HARDWARE -> DEVICE MANAGER -> HUMAN INTERFACE DEVICES -> Than Highlight your Mouse and Tablit and click the Uninstall buttion at the top. -> RESTART
(Windows Vista, 7) START -> (RIGHT CLICK) MY COMPUTER -> PROPITERIES -> (ON THE SIDE) DEVICE MANAGER -> HUMAN INTERFACE DEVICES -> Than Highlight your Mouse and Tablit and click the Uninstall buttion at the top. -> RESTART

My pen suddenly doesn't work, but the mouse does.

Hello adesso huh? make sure you have fresh batteries and that the pen nib is seated properly.

Mouse works, pen doesn't

before you replace the pen. i'll suggest to check it again twice. check if theres a battery or some possible device to configure it befoire you replace the pen. thanks

Two cursors when driver is installed on Windows Vista

it is a vista issue, you have to download a driver from another company for a different tablet, it is not an addesso driver, but it fixes the double mouse problem, the driver is from
Nisis / Aiptek V3.15 drivers google that and download the driver, it should fix it

Problem installingdriver and software

You can go to the adesso web site and download the driver it should pop-up with all your tabs or click the tablet icon on the bottom of your task bar it should bring it up

Subject: cybertablet 8600

I have had my cybertablet about 6 months. It works fine on my old computer but not on my new vista computer. I downloaded the new drivers from your website that say Vista on them but I still get a double cursor. I have found that many people on internet forums are having this same problem. Are you going to make a vista compatable driver for the 8600?
