Re: Error E15 - MAchine not draining
Drain is same wehatever the program. filter is likely blocked. access is not that easy. take off panel at bottom rear. filter is in pipe from bottom of tub to pump. undo this pipe, take out filter. you may have water everywhere so be carefull

what e15 indicate means an error code that there have been an over flow of water from the drum over to the panel or the wire that suppl power to the screen .
you will have to do to fix up this problem from the screen is to
unscrew the screws with screw driver care then trace the wire ,that is
the power supply down to the panel and also to the screen clean up all
forms of liquid around the wires and also the panel carefully . then
couple it back with care to is position with this the problem is solve.
Hi, - fixed this myself. Problem was a blocked pipe from front of drum to pressure switch. - The machine was fooled in to thinking it had water in when it hadnt! - hence the error 15. that was also why it would not fill. - im guessing the heater blew because it was on with no water to keep it cool!
Error F-02 is a slow drain problem. Undo and remove the wide tapering pipe from the bottom of the drum to the pump. Inside you will find a non return ball valve, clean this and your problem should be solved
E15 means that it is not draining fast enough. As well as checking the outlet pipes, check the filter leading to the pump. Disconnect the power and pipe. If possible take outside because there will be a residual amount of water. Remove the back panel, then disconnect the locking rings holding the tubes on. Your main target should be the big downflow rubber tube from the drum, in here is a plastic filter. In mine I found a child's sock... plus buttons...plus slime. Problem solved.
The problem is your pump or filter is blocked,
Remove rear cover of washer, and remove large black hose from tub, remove and clean filter inside hose, check for a blockage in pump, refit filter and hose, and it should now be o/k.
Please rate my solution.
Check if the drain hose is free, if cycle stops and gives you f12 without draining the water, there is a problem with the drain system.
The Hotpoint should have a removable paner at the back on the lower side. The panel gives access to the pump. If cleaning the drain hose does not solve the problem, the pump must be removed and cleaned or replaced. The repair should be done by a technician.
Your machine has detected a problem with draining. The place to check is the filter located at rear of machine. To access it remove plate at bottom rear of machine & you will see a black pipe hanging vertically from the drum secured by a spring clip. The filter is in this pipe. If this is clear take off other end & check pump is not obstructed.Be aware that there will be water in these pipes so may be wise to take machine outside.Let me know if problem persists.
