How to Turn Off Demo Mode

<li>Press the (PWR) to turn the unit off.</li>
<li>Press the (DIS) and (1) simultaneously for more than 3 seconds to activate the demonstration mode.</li>
<li>Press both buttons again from more than 2 seconds to cancel this mode.</li></ol>or<br />

<li>Try pressing and holding menu for 10 seconds to turn it off.</li></ol><span style="font-weight: bold;">Bose:</span><br />
<ol>
<li>Unplug the unit and wait ten seconds.</li>
<li>Plug it back it and press repeatedly on the eject button.</li>
<li>The demo disc will eject.</li></ol><span style="font-weight: bold;">Clarion:</span><br />
<ol>
<li>Press and hold the "D" button to enter the settings menu.</li>
<li>Use the next track button until SCRN SVR is displayed, use the rotary knob to select "OFF".</li>
<li>Press the "D" button to exit the settings menu. </li></ol><span style="font-weight: bold;">Garmin:</span><br />
<ol>
<li>DO NOT DO THIS TO A FUNCTIONING UNIT. Hold down your MENU key, Go to your SYSTEM tab, SYSTEM INFORMATION.</li>
<li>When the software version window come up, hit ENTER.</li>
<li>Press RANGE UP 3 time, Range DOWN 3 times, RANGE up 1 time, RANGE down 1 time.</li>
<li>The system should reset, when asked to use RETAIL mode say NO.</li></ol><span style="font-weight: bold;">JVC:</span><br />
<ol>
<li>Hold down the SEL button for 2-3 seconds.</li>
<li>Use the << or >> buttons to find DEMO.</li>
<li>Turn the VOLUME knob until it says OFF or DEMO OFF.</li>
<li>Press SEL again.</li></ol><span style="font-weight: bold;">Kenwood:</span><br />
<ol>
<li>Go into standby mode, hit menu and then press "hold". A menu should pop up.</li>
<li>Use knob to select demo.</li>
<li>Press in on the knob and hold until it says "demo OFF".</li></ol>or<br />

<li>Switch to Standby.</li>
<li>While holding down 5, press Reset with a paperclip or similar and continue to hold down 5.</li>
<li>Demo mode should now be off.</li></ol><span style="font-weight: bold;">Magnavox:</span><br />

<li>Press and hold the menu button for 5-10 seconds until the normal menu pops up and then go to the section that says demo and turn the demo mode off.<span style="font-weight: bold;"></span></li></ol><span style="font-weight: bold;">Pioneer:</span>

<li>Turn the vehicle's key to the Accessory or ACC position.</li>
<li>Press the "Source" button, located on the left-side of the radio, and press the "Off" button that appears on the screen to turn off the unit.</li>
<li>Locate the "Volume/Mute" button, located on the left-side of the unit.</li>
<li>Press and hold the "Volume/Mute" button until the demo mode turns off.</li></ol>or<br />
<ol>
<li>Turn the radio off.</li>
<li>Push "Memory 5" or "Memory 6" (depending on your model) for just a second.</li>
<li>When you hear a beep, demo mode is off.</li></ol><span style="font-weight: bold;">Pioneer Premier:</span><br />

<li>With the unit Off and the car ignition On and Running, press button number 5 and release that button to turn off Demo mode.</li></ol><span style="font-weight: bold;">Sharp:</span><br />

<li>When the unit is in the power stand-by mode (demonstration mode), press the X-BASS/DEMO button.</li>
<li>The demonstration mode will be cancelled and the display will disappear.</li></ol><span style="font-weight: bold;">Sony:</span><br />

<li>Press display twice to turn off Demo mode.</li></ol>or<br />
<ol>
<li>Press and hold the select button.</li>
<li>Press the select button repeatedly until the desired item appears.</li>
<li>Rotate the control dial to select the setting DEMO.</li>
<li>Rotate the control dial to select the setting DEMO-OFF.</li>
<li>Press and hold the select button.</li></ol><br />or<br />

<li>Press the STOP and the EJECT buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds.</li>
<li>UNLOCKED should now appear in the display and you should be able to eject the disc.</li></ol>If Demo mode comes back on every time you turn off the ignition and back on, you have a wiring problem with your Constant +12 Volt Memory wire.
