Southwest freedom phone model GH5812 turning off speakerphone
Hi, I own a Southwest Bell Freedom phone model GH5812 5.8 GHZ. I cannot, for the life of me figure out how to turn off the speakerphone and stay connected to the person I am on the phone with. I have tried the flash button, the memory button, the "mute" or "format" button, pressing the speakerphone button again, pressing "exit" Pressing the "asterick" button and pressig the "pound button" I think I have tried them all.
What is the trick to put a person who is on speakerphone back to just a private conversation with out disconnecting them.

if the battery is not there, take the battery to Radio Shack (you do not want to go back nor return it) there you can get the same battery or one that is compatible.
you can go on the website of the manufacturer and search for the manual, and usually you will have to download the manual to your computer. If that doesnt work, go to the store in which you bought it from and ask if they could get you the manual. Any further questions or conflicts, let me know. Thanks, hope i can help!
By typing "Southwestern Bell Freedom Phone Manual" in Google, the first description on top of the page I clicked on showed me a variety of catagories of phones to choose from. I clicked on the corded phone catagory and I chose FC2548 which was the closest to my model FC2570. I downloaded a pdf of the owner's manual which solved my problem of saving numbers to memory and
other functions.
We need to put the phone on speakerphone but can't find the button
