Cannot turn the menu feature on with RCA remote control.

Universal remotes aren't.

At best, they are 'multibrand' and, with the proliferation of 'brands,' there never will be one that can rightfully claim to be 'universal.'

There may never be a code for your game or set available in every remote.

If a remote is older than the device you want to control, it won't likely have a code set built in for it.

You can probably find the code sets available for that remote here:

If not, you will have to go to the RCA site.

I can help you reprogram your RCA RCR311ST for all your Orion TV. The folks at RCA did away with a code search button for this model and you must press a combination of buttons to setup programming more.

okay this is what you do hit the code search botton hit the tv botton the hit channal up untell you find that your tv is changing channals then hit tv again and that should work just do it slow becouse if you pass the channal it changes then you will have to use the channal back button tell it pops up again it will work.

I got this off the internet. But I do not know what type of universal you bought. You didn't mention it.

I have the same TV. I called RCA and they said the remote is not 'code compatible' and that I should check back with the website in the future. I think a learning remote is the only option at this point. Maybe a Logitech Harmony?

I would check your user's manual for the remote.
