My keyboard was working fine until 2 days ago. I accidentally knocked it off of the keyboard rest/shelf but it fell onto my printer which is only 1 foot below where the keyboard rest. Now the keystrokes will lag (meaning the keys I type don't register until almost 30 seconds later) or the keys will stick (meaning I'll type a letter once and it will appear on the screen multiple times e.g. typed "o", the screen shows "oooooooooooooooo").

goto control panel/keyboard and check the character repeat settings.

i had the same problem, i checked the batteries with a DMM and the measured 1.4v i replaced the batteries with new and i still had the same problem. anyway i ended up taking the keyboard apart and found where the antenna is connected to a push on type connector alongside the pcb board inside the keyboard, the connection was slightly corroded. i cleaned it up and it is working fine know, even with the old batteries.

You need to reboot the PC and it will be fine.
Otherwise, if your mouse is working then go to the device manager and uninstall the keyboard and then restart the PC with Keyboard Driver Installation CD/Setup.
Let me know if you face and difficulty and need further assistance, I will assist you further to fix the problem.

When you open keyboard in control panel those bars are for speeding up or slowing down
right click on my computer then click properties then at the top you'll see restore click that and restore your pc to an earlier date when you know it worked click apply then restart
if that don't help we'll need to try and update driver
