I can not get any power to my TV. I press the power button and nothing happens. I tried the remote power and that didn't work either. I unplugged the power and let it set for a few minutes and still nothing. Is there a reset switch on the TV someplace. I would appreciate any help. Thank you.

I have a 2005 BENQ MODEL # DV3750. It works great, never had a problem with it until yesterday. I went to turn it on and there was no power. Made sure outlet was working.

Re: No Power to TV
There is no reset button on these new sets, your set has complete power problem since you have no lights no clicks, this might have happen because of lightning or power surge, either one creates a lot of damage,if you are familiar with tv service you can check the main fuse,he should be close to where the power cord comes in,if you find the fuse blown it needs to be replaced with an exact replacement for AMPS rating and VOLTS rating as well as size,if the fuse is blown black we might have more problems ahead in the circuit and it will blow up again as sonn as you plug the tv back in,if it blows again it will need a more involved repair, the problem could be in the primary side of the power supply,if you are not too familiar you should seek the help of a servicer a least for an estimate but if you suspect power surge or lighting damage dont invest any more on this set and get a new one.

Hi! This worked for me! I'm Leyz/leheart from the Philippines. I'm typing in CDRKing or CD-R King or CDR King Universal Remote Control PX-RC1 so that these keywords will show up if someone's looking for it too. Mcneileric is right! Real TV should be on! On the remote, press and hold the SET and DEVICE TYPE (in my case TV) at the same time. (Note: SET button is not any other button but the one with the word SET on it. You might have been searching on youtube and found that they are pressing other SET buttons but do press the SET button with the SET word). Then press SET again. Press the POWER button then + CHANNEL button then POWER button then +CHANNEL button then POWER button then +CHANNEL. (This process is so the remote could look for the code while you are pressing the +CHANNEL and the POWER is to see if the tv will turn off/respond to the remote). Do this repeatedly until the time that when you press the POWER button, the real TV turns off which means the real TV now responds. You will be shocked so DON'T press the +CHANNEL button anymore as this will instruct the device to look for another code. Instead, press the DEVICE TYPE button (TV for my case) to finish the set up. NOW YOU CAN USE the REMOTE! Press the POWER button and this will turn on the TV! Again... TV onPress and hold SET button (yes, the button with the word SET) and DEVICE type button (TV/VCR,etc) at the same time for about 3 secondsPress SET againPress Power to check if the TV turns off^^If nothing happens, press +CHANNEL to search for codePress Power again to check if TV turns off^^If nothing happens, repeat the step between ^^ and ^^If the TV now turns off after pressing the POWER button, press the DEVICE type button to finish the setup. Mcneileric, THANK YOU!!!!
Hey finally I found myself how to set the code... I have a PX-RC1 kind a noname remote at XScargo anyway...
Press SET BUTTON and at the same time, the appliance you want to set( TV, VCR,Aux...etc). The LED shoould stay on.. then press on the SET BUTTON again ... the led will blink fast... then press ( in front of TV, of else).. the POWER BUTTON to see what happens, if nothing happens, then press the +CHANNEL BUTTON once, and press power again. Repeat this until it turn off. THen press the appliance button (VCR,TV,AUX, etc...), this will stop the LED to blink and your appliance will be set.. I guess if it doesn't work good, go further onto the code with the +CHANNEL BUTTON (better count it in case you go too far, for myself I went too far and tried to use the -BUTTON and didn't work)
GOOD LUCK GUYS,
