Wow, we just googled this and found that we have the same problem. We just did a self clean last night, and now we can't get it to work. What the hell? Did this with me twice now on self clean. It's the thermostat on the back of the oven. Set to trip when oven gets too hot which happens with self clean. Part is about $45 - $50 and pretty simple to install. Hardest part is pulling the oven out of the wall.
I have had the same problem twice with my wall oven Kitchenaid model KEBC107KSS05. Oven stops Heating after the self cleaning feature is used. The only solution is to keep replacing the thermostat, until you replace the oven with a product other than Kitchenaid.

I have a Superba built-in YKEBS 177 D56 ( dual convection/convention)...I think it might be about 10 years old. I noticed the same thing starting last year..the temperature seems a litlle off and the cook time on the convention seems to take longer. I've never used the conventional oven so I don't know if the temperature is OK on that component.
I don't have a manual. and I've been searching for it...does anyone know which one I need?
Sorry I couldn't help with your problem, mine is similar to your though!!
I found the answer by checking the Kitchenaid website to find the manual. My model is KEMS308sss04, this is found on the right door frame.
Website is:

You can preheat oven, but then turn off to set thermometer.
Put probe in food.
Put food in oven and plug in probe.
The digital light asks for the temperature you want, type it in.
Then the cooking method. I used convection bake at 325.
Hit START.
(The first time I didn't stop the oven and it didn't work. After stopping everything and starting with the probe before turning on the oven, it worked perfectly. Good Luck.
This was my exact problem. Our oven is almost identical, but mine so this could likely be the same fix. Check the details here:

here.
Remove the oven from the wall. Remove the rear panel. The upper and lower ovens have a non-resettable thermal fuse that has blown. Use a VOM to verify which fuse. After repair use Easy Off, not self clean.
if you cant program it for more than the 270 you may have changed it from farienhiet ( bad spelling) to celcius. pushing and holding broil may switch it back.
If you turn the center knob (marked 'time') to the right, it sets the timer; but if you turn it sufficiently far to the left, it goes into clock set mode. When you get to the correct time, press start.

from page 8
Turn the knob to the left until a tone is heard and "time" appears in the display window. The previously set time will appear in the display window.
Continue turning the time knob in either direction until the correct time of day appears in the display window
Same issue. Started after entering cleaning mode.
Same problem, will not heat up and has weird wire smell on inside
