hey I just figured this one out dont know if it is a cowinkydink or what but on the adapter the big one it has a little slide you wont see it unless you look for it, its on the leftside, it says lock one way and unlock is the other. So I switched it to unlock and it seems like its downloading, I havent got the error message about the write protection yet and its still downloading, Try that and see if it works, Im gonna try mine and see in about 4 minutes. Most SD memory cards have a tiny slide switch on the edge of the card. Move this slide switch from Read to Write to turn off the write protection.

SOURCE: my sandisk is failing to

Connect the disk to a computer and then click right on My Computer then click Manage and then try formatting it from there. if this fails then your disk might be locked. try finding the lock on the disk its kind of a small switch button on the sides of the disk try pushing it on either sides while trying to format it. When it is locked it will say that the disk is Protected and when unlocked it will not be protected thus enabling it to format.

Remove write protection from micro-sd card

  1. Remove the Sandisk SD card from your portable electronic device. Ensure that the SD card can be safely ejected before removing.
  2. Locate the write protect lock. The write protect lock should be on the side opposite the cut-off corner of the SD Card.
  3. Disengage the write protect lock. To do this, gently slide the small switch upward, toward the top of the SD Card. The card should now have write protection disabled.
jQuery('.article ol .image').each(function(i,e){ var $this = jQuery(this); $this.find('img').error(function(){ jQuery(this).remove(); $this.remove(); }); });
