Hello,

You can clear the password with a program like active@ password changer. It is a bootable cd that will allow you to clear a windows user password. You can purchase it from their website at www.password-changer.com If you forgot a BIOS password, then you will have to sent it to Acer to have it cleared. They charge $100 for this service in Canada.

Hope this helps!

Joe

Well, sometimes it costs you no penny to get back or reset your lost Windows password actually. Don't believe it? Just have a try of the following free Windows password recovery solutions if you forgot Windows password to your computer.
1. In reality, some users resort to free Windows password recovery tool to unlock their PC, like Ophcrack. Ophcrack LiveCD is a completely self contained, bootable version of Ophcrack. Ophcrack LiveCD is the easiest and most effective Windows password recovery freeware that I've ever found to "crack" your forgotten Windows password.
Since you can't login your Windows PC because you lost the password, so first you'll need to visit Ophcrack's website to download ophcrack LiveCD. Please make sure that if you've forgotten Windows 7 password or Vista password, click on ophcrack Vista LiveCD. If you've forgotten XP password, click on ophcrack XP LiveCD.
2. Cain & AbelUnlike Ophcrack and other popular Windows password recovery programs, Cain & Abel requires access to Windows under an administrator account. In fact, Cain & Abel is a bit more complicated to use than other password recovery tools which is usually unavailable for Windows Vista as is said.
If you have no way of getting in to your Windows PC, you will not be able to use Cain & Abel to recover your password. Moreover, before you can use Cain & Abel, you'll need to download a rainbow table. These large databases of passwords are required so Cain & Abel can reset the forgotten windows password.
3. Available Admin AccountIt's well known that Windows administrator users have rights to change password of other user account on the same computer. So if you forgot password of the user account, just enter your administrator account and do as follows:

1. What is the default password for Dell Inspiron running windows vista

Well, forgot Dell windows password?

I don't know Dell's default password, however I know how to reset the windows vista password.

Three ways:
1. Another valid administrator account which can normally log on.
2. A password reset disk or a repair disc, which is created in advance ( before you lost password ).
3. Third-party software to create a bootable password reset CD/DVD or USB, like Windows Password Reset .

I forgot my password for my other window i don't have a disk to rest password i don't know what to do

The best way to resolve this problem is to reset your account's password using the Offline NT Password & Registry editor.
You can download it at the following link: http://pogostick.net/~pnh/ntpasswd/

This utility will enable you to reset the password of any user that has a valid (local) account on your Windows NT/2k/XP/Vista/7 etc system.
The link above includes some directions on how to use this utility, however the basic idea is to download the ISO image to a different computer, burn it to a blank CD
, then use it to boot up your computer & reset your account's password.

Changing your administrator password

To change the administrator password, you must know the current administrator password. If you're logged in as the administrator, open Account preferences and click the Change Password button.

If you don't remember the password and automatic login is turned off, you can reset the administrator password using the Mac OS X User Install disc.

IMPORTANT: Because a user with the Mac OS X install disc can gain unrestricted access to your computer, you should keep the disc in a safe place.
To reset the administrator password using the Mac OS X disc:

 1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc and restart the computer.
 2. When you hear the startup tone, hold down the C key until you see the spinning gear.
 3. When the Installer appears, choose Utilities > Reset Password.
 4. Follow the onscreen instructions to change the password.
 5. Quit the Installer and restart your computer while holding down the mouse button to eject the disc.

Be sure to change your login password in Keychain Access to match your new password.
