Question about Bushnell Deep Space 78-9512 (120 x 60mm) Telescope
SOURCE: the eye piece keeps falling
There are several different types of eyepiece holders:
Set-Screw-- this is a small screw on the side of the diagonal that holds in the eyepiece.
Compression ring-- again a small set screw but a brass compression ring tightens onto the eyepiece.
Plain Compression Diagonal-- the diagonal is a tight fit to the eyepiece- try binding it slightly in to get a tighter fit.

Put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the telescope. (This is the lowest magnification.)
DO NOT use the 2x barlow. Go outside during the day time and practice focusing on a distant object. The moon should be your first target at night.

Eyepieces are either .965 inch or 1.25 inch in size. Measure the hole. You can buy eyepieces from many on line astronomy shops. Here are two:

Eyepieces come in 3 sizes-- .965, 1.25, and 2 inch.
Measure the hole -- several on-line retailers sell eyepieces.
