In 1998, UHF-69 was highest channel. you need that TV which has today's technology.
SOURCE: settting tv to a higher channel for cable`
Most TVs have a choice of air or cable in the menu portion of the tv. press menu go to setup and from there you should see an option that says air/antenna or cable. You will have to either toggle to get the air selection or highlight it. Then you should be able to get to channels you need.
An easier solution may be to go to the Dish receiver that controls the image on the tv you can't get to 73. With tv and satellite on (make sure both green and blue lights are on) press on your Dish remote #1 with the green tab on the bottom the following sequence: MENU - 6-1-5. tHIS WILL TAKE YOU TO THE MODULATOR SET UP PAGE. Move the highlight from cancel to the mode section an highlight AIR and press select. Then move the highlight back to the right to DONE and press select. Press cancel three times or view live tv. then go to the other tv and put it on ch 60.
Hope this assists you.

On your dish remote, press and hold the tv button until all 4 buttons light up, then release. push either of the power buttons once. Now start pushing the down channel button, It's the one right below select, continue pushing it until tv turns off. When tv goes off push down button one more time then push up button, when tv turns back on stop and press # key, tv light will flash 3 times and should be set. Note....if u press down button and tv does not turn off after going through all codes( tv light will start flashing) press cancel and try again only channel up this time. hope this helps.
SOURCE: I accidently changed the channel that I receive
Is this a tv2 off of the primary reciver from another room?
If so there is a 2 step process to help you fox this.
Generally yes it is 60 or 73 but some installers do change it.
If it is on 60 The it will be on 60 AIR not 60 CABLE , if it is on 73 then is will be on 73 CABLE not 73 AIR..
To simplify this for you go into your tv's menu and select your air/cable type to air and have the tv do a channel scan. once complete use your remote and go up and down the channels in air mode it may find more than one. check and see if any of them are your dish box. If not then go back into the tv menu and select your air/cable setting to cable and repeat a channel scan. again once complete use the tv remote to go up and down channels untill you locate your dish box. If you do both of these and still do not have your signal verify that there is no VCR or DVD player "ON" at that location. They can be hooked up, just not on. Also some tv's have an antenna A and antenna B on the back of them , if your does make sure you test with both antenna connections. If you go thru all of this and still cannot get a signal then a line may have gotten cut or dissconnected and they need to send a tech out.
