Different DVDs freeze while playing, at random times (the picture is still like a photo). They may continue after a few seconds on their own, or pushing "play" unlocks the freeze. Have cleaned discs, and used a commercial cleaner disc to clear the lens, without success. Appreciate suggestions. Thanks.
If it's a very cheap unit, it's possibly because the machine can't process the information quickly or efficiently enough, thusly causing the picture to freeze up while the processing catches up with it. Friend has a $30 unit, which happens to constantly.
