I CONNECTED THE CD PLAYER IN MY CAR BUT WHEN IT CAME ON IT DISPLAYED "WAITNG 3" AND WON'T DO ANY OTHER FUNCTION AT ALL. EVEN WHEN I PRESS RESET IT RESETS BACK TO THE SAME PROBLEM. HELP!!!!!!!!

KENWOOD SECURITY CODE CLEAR procedure
Your radio will require one of the following procedures.
Type 1
During the code request mode, while holding the DISP key depressed, press and hold the Volume UP or DOWN key for 3 seconds (so that ??? disappears).
Then using your remote enter your code.
Type 2
Press the "Auto" button and "Track up" on face of radio at the same time. The four dash lines ( . . . . ) should "disappear".
Then using your remote enter your code.
Type 3
Model# DPX-4020 and DPX-4030
Press and hold the 1 then the 6 preset key (preset keys are the buttons on face of radio for storing you "favorite" radio stations). "C" should display.
Then using your remote, enter your code.
Enter your number from the remote control unit. Your code number is 5227 (KCAR)
* Press numeric key ?5? ( 2 times ) and press the Track UP/Next Track key
* Press numeric key ?2? ( 3 times ) and press the Track UP/Next Track key
* Press numeric key ?2? ( 1 time ) and press the Track UP/Next Track key
* Press numeric key ?7? ( 2 times ) and press the Track UP/Next Track key
The security is canceled and the set enters the TUNER mode!

take the blue/white wire coming from the radio and tie that in with your solid blue wire coming from the radio and which is connected to whichever wire in the car. So in total you'll have 3 wires at a connector.
try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes to reset the radio. Sometimes a microprocessor will lock up. You can reset it by disconnecting the battery.
Use MULTI-CONTROL to select
Connection open in the function menu.
Press MULTI-CONTROL to open the connection.
Always waiting is displayed. This unit is now
on standby for connection from Bluetooth
device(ur phone).

A. Input Security Code:
Enter Standby: Press the [SRC] button. Select the "ALL OFF" display.
Enter Menu Mode: Press the [MENU] button for at least 1 second. When "MENU" is displayed, "Security"/"SECURITY" is displayed.
Enter Security Code mode: Press the [|<<] or [>>|] button for at least 1 second. When "ENTER" is displayed, "CODE" is displayed.
Select the digits to enter: Press Press the [|<<] or [>>|] button.
Select the Security Code numbers: Press the [FM] or [AM] button.
Repeat steps 4 and 5, and complete the Security Code.
Confirm the Security Code: Press [>>|] button for at least 3 seconds. When "RE-ENTER" is displayed, "CODE" is displayed.
Do the step 4 through 7 step operation, and reenter the security code. "Approved is displayed and the Security Function activates. However, if you enter a code different from your security code you have to start over from Step 4.
B. After Pressing the Reset button or when removed from power source.
Turn the power ON.
Do the step 4 through 7 operation, and reenter the security code. "APPROVED" is displayed.
C. If an incorrect code is input, "WAITING" is displayed and the input prohibited time shown below is generated. After the input prohibited times lapses, "CODE" is displayed, and input can be done.
1 Time = 0 minutes
2 Times = 5 minutes
3 Times = 1 hour
4 Times = 24 hours
Turn your JVC source ON. Then press SEL -button continuously, until you see the function change mode. Then select desired function with rew/fwd -buttons, and change mode vith -/+ -buttons.
1 Enter Standby

7 Confirm the Security Code
Press the Control knob for at least 3 seconds.
When "RE-ENTER" is displayed, "CODE" is
displayed.
8 Do the step 4 through 7 operation, and
reenter the Security Code.
"APPROVED" is displayed.
The Security Code function activat
Make sure the unit is turned off. Then press and hold the function button for about 3-5 seconds. It should beep and the clock should be displayed. Then press up or down then left or right.
Try this, which works for most Pioneer car radios, they say.
Turn key to ignition on or accessories position, turn radio off. A time should be displayed, and maybe it is incorrect.
Press the Function key and hold it for 3 seconds and the hour will flash. Use either the up/down or the left/right button to change the time. When finished, I think you push the Function key again.
Try turning the unit off first - Pioneer manuals are notorious for mentioning this at the beginning of the section, which doesn't really help if you skip to the part that you are interested in.
