PUK code for NOKIA 6020

PUK stands for Personal Unblocking Key. This is a uniqueeight-digit code specific to your SIM card. This is required when the PINnumber to unlock your mobile phone is entered incorrectly 3 times. You are thengiven 10 attempts to enter your PUK code. The PUK or Pin Unlock Key activates when you have entered your PIN incorrectly on the phone a maximum times (usually 3 or 5), and is an extra bit of security for your phone. To get your PUK, you will need to call your service provider who will give you the PUK once you have identified yourself with them successfully.

Basically sir, PUK code is not asked by Cellphones, rather, by SIM cards, your SIM required 4 digit PIN code and someone entered it 3 times incorrectly and now its asking for PUK code and your service provider (means your network company like Vodafone, ROGERS etc) will give you 8 digit code (mostly free) and if you'll enter PUK 3 times incorrectly then you'll lose your SIM card and data in it.

You enter the PUK code, when the SIM has been locked by too many attempts at entering the PIN code for the SIM.

When the PUK code is needed, the phone will specifically ask you to enter it. If you want to trigger the PUK code request, enter the PIN code for the SIM card incorrectly a few times. There is no key press codes to trigger the PUK code prompt.

Each PUK code is specific to each SIM card, and has nothing to do with the phone itself.

And the PUK code is also not related to the phone security/lock code (the default for the security/lock code on the phone is 12345 on Nokia phones).

PUK is the unblocking code for you SIM card. It will request this after entering your PIN code incorrectly 3 times. If you carry on entering numbers after this, after 10 attempts it destroys your SIM card!
Call your service provider who will ask for your mobile number and then issue you with your unique PUK code which will unlock your SIM. Once unlocked it will ask you to enter a new SIM PIN.

you have to phone 07973100450 from a land line. it will ask you for your phone number a few times then it will pass you to  a REAL person who will ask you ask you a few security questions like what are the last four numbers of your top-up card and vol lia that is how you get your four digit id code!!!!!!!

as youve entered the puk code, it asks for the new pin code, the default code was 1234 right? so if you are going to try the new pin code yu can either invent a new pin code or just enter the default code.

You should get your PUK number from your service provider... no one else have it

Every PUK code is unique so nobody can tell you your PUK number, but i will tell you what you can do!
1) If you still have your packet that your Sim Card came in, you should find your PUK number in there, if you don't have the packet, please read bellow.

2) You must get a phone that is on the same network as your phone and call the networks Customer Care and ask them for your PUK number, they will ask you for your phone number, then they will tell you your PUK number. Once you have done this, you will be able to reset your Pin number so you will be able to go into your phone again.
