HP All in One printer F4280 shows an Error code ''E''
When printer is turned on. Problem started suddenly. Tried power recycle and left unplugged over night. Tried taking our cartridges and replacing. Tried removing cartridges altogether and re-starting. But none of these have fixed the issue. What should I try?

As soon as I started using recycled ink cartridges, I started getting a paper jam error on my printer. The control panel message instructs me to remove the back panel and clear paper jam. I've done this several times but there is no paper to clear and the message keeps coming back. I've tried turning of the printer and unplugging it to clear the memory, but that doesn't help. Could it be that the chip on the ink cartridge is messing with the printer's operating system?
Remove all the cartridges from the printer and perfrom the below steps.
Press the On button ( ) to turn off the product.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the product.
Wait 60 seconds.
Plug the power cord into the back of the product.
Press the On button ( ) to turn on the product.
After you perform the above steps, re-insert the cartridges one by one and check for any error after you insert any particular cartridge. You would face issues with refilled cartridges, they may work well for some time but once issue starts it goes on....
Any clarifications please comment....
1. All you need is Uninstall the the printer from your control panel. 2. go to my computer and open your Hard drive (C:) 3. Go to the programs folder and open it. 4. delete the HP F4280 folder. 5. reinstall the printer.
Make sure that your printed is not connected to your PC during software installation until you are being told to do so.
After waiting 4 hours for the promised return phone call from HP support I called HP tech support back and this time I connected with someone who was familiar with the problem. This is what he had me do: 1) disconnect the power cable from the back of the printer, 2) push the On/Off button 10 times, 3) wait 30 seconds, and 4) reconnect the power cable. It worked great and the paper started feeding with no problem! He said that static can build inside. I am going to try this with my HP PSC 1510 All-In-One which requires me to hand-feed the paper. My fingers are crossed.
