Where can i get a serial number?

I bought this camera from ebay and i need a serial number to install.

I have the exact same camera and have had it for over 5 years now and can not seem to find the serial number for item pictured below. Can any one help?

Almost all early Quantaray lenses (and Sigma lenses, Sigma made Quantaray) in the Canon EOS mount will show error messages on Canon digital cameras (but still work fine on older EOS film cameras). usually err99 but err01 also. There is no DIY fix and Sigma ran out of update parts years ago. Current production lenses and Canon made lenses will not have this problem. This lens would only work for someone shooting EOS film cameras with no intention of "upgrading" their system to digital Canon cameras in the future.

I bought a dazzle DVC100 from ebay for my sons birthday, when we went to install it we were asked to type in the serial number which we dont appear to have! is there any way we can get one? thanks D....

I would contact the ebay seller to see if they still have the serial number. Unfortunately, I don't think there is any legal way to get around this.You could try calling the manufacturer to see if they will provide a new one, but I would be 99.999% sure they will say no.

Here is a site that yo can use to track any pictures that have been uploaded on the internet fro your stolen camera. It uses the serial number stored internally on your camera to locate pictures that have been uploaded with the same serial number. http://consumerist.com/2011/04/find-your-stolen-camera-by-searching-web-for-uploaded-pictures-from-it.html
Would help you find a replacement used camera, but you did not post make, model #, etc...

I have just bought a Nokon/AFNikkor 50mm F1.4 lense from ebay and it does not have a serial number on it . it just says made in china and the number 10 .is it fake?

If it says "Nokon" then it's most certainly a fake. All Nikon AF lenses have a serial number on the bottom of the barrel, near the mount.

Have lost Olympus Master serial number.

The serial number is on the base of the camera. We can't give you a new serial number! They are unique to the camera.

Hi there.

I went to the HP site to attempt to get the software for your camera and I had no problem and didn't need the info you are asking for.
Go here:

It's the HP site for the software for your camera. You don't need any information. Just pick your operating system that your running on your computer. On the next page choose HP Photosmart Full Featured Software and Drivers. On the next page, click the blue button and choose save. Make sure your pick a place to save it so you can remember (like the desktop). Then go to the desktop and install the software. By the way, the version your after is 9.0, not 2.0.

The serial number is on the installation disk or the envelope the CD came in, not the camera.
