Do not know how to turn the wireless capability of my laptop on

Here the list of FUJTISU SIEMENS-AMILO models and where the wireless switch is located. Hope this will helps. Check what family your laptop belongs to then turn on the wireless swith using the list below:


Fujitsu Siemens Amilo A Series ---- Button above the keyboard on top right
Fujitsu Siemens Amilo D Series ---- Button above the keyboard on top right
Fujitsu Siemens Amilo K Series ---- Not Wireless
Fujitsu Siemens Amilo L/EL Series ---- Fn / F1 to turn on/off
Fujitsu Siemens Amilo La Series ---- Fn / F2 to turn on / off
Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Li Series ---- Easy launch button (one of 3) on top of keyboard

Hi Charles,

Try turning off your wireless router and modem for 2 minutes and then turn them back on. Wait another 2 minutes for them to settle down and try connecting to the internet again.

If this does not work you may have to reinstall the drivers for the wireless card in your laptop.

Hi,

Tyr pressing Fn and f1 button or the combination or Fn and F2 it will turn the wireless ON on the laptop, then you will be able to see your router or modem's wireless connection and will be able to connect

There's a switch on the front of the laptop to enable/disable wireless

There is any wireless adapter showing in the control panel.
According to the laptop specs, this laptop did not come with wireless capability. You need to purchase a wireless notebook adapter for it or us it with a network cable.

The issue is that it isn't turned on by default in the bios. Here is a link to a how guide to set this up.

check there must be a on off switch for wireless, or
press fn key and the key that has marked wireless together
how do you like the solution please rate it i will appreciate your comments

hit the Function key (usually "Fn") then F2 should work. Also on most Fujisu's the wifi button is some where around the top left might want to try that also with or without Fn.
