I got this XD-A75 system for the last 4 years and it's been great until last week, when I hit the power button, it turned ON and got immediately switched OFF. And this happened everytime I tried to turn it ON. The last time I used it for is to listen to some music from a CD. Also, I frequently use it for TV while watching some movies. Is this something I can do it myself or do I have to take it to a repair shop.
That happened to me about a year ago, and i think it happened after a storm. i must have sat there and turned it on at least 50x. so finally i just left it unpluged for about an like a day. pluged it back in and it worked.

When the AC cord is first plugged into the unit, the unit will go into demo mode. To cancel demonstration mode press the Ex.Bass/Demo button. This button is on the front of the receiver, left side towards the top. The demo mode will be cancelled and the receiver will be in low power consumption mode. It may appear that the unit is off because the display will disappear but the radio is in fact on. When the radio is on you can also adjust the bass with the Ex.Bass/Demo button as well.
You might've hit the button that turns off wifi. Check to see if you did that.
Also for slowness. Download malwarebytes (google it, its free) and ccleaner. Run both of those and cleanup your system. That should make a difference.
Sounds like an alternator problem. Pull it of the truck and take it to a parts store and have them test it for u. Its free at most parts stores. while your at it replace all power cabels and grounds the trucks old new cabels and connections cant hurt. Side post batteries have a bad habit of ratiling lose connections. hope this helps and good luck.
did you check all the fusable links sometimes they dont break all the way maybee check all the grounds on the truck there is one on the back of the head and should be a comp. ground and of course the engine ground from bat. sometimes you have to losen them and retighten to establish a new clean ground
Hold the hint button (question mark) when turning on the device. When the device turns on, do the stylus calibration and touch each of the crosshairs that shows up. After you are finished restart the leapster and you should be fine.
Sounds as you have a bad ballest. The ballest is the power supply that turns your lamp on.
You can check your lamp by removing it and it should be clear and no broken pieces of glass.
With the lamp removed install the cover and turn it on you should hear no noise and when the power light turns red you should see a LAMP red led blink every 5 seconds. If no noise then the lamp is bad. If you do hear noise you have a bad ballist.
Hope this helps.
