Apex gb4308 flashing blue screen and cycling channels
My newly acquired gb4308 is flashing a blue screen and appears to be cycling thru the channels one at a time with every flash. Only the blue projector is lighting up, but when I unplug the wire going into the verticaly oriented, metal enclosed board on the A/V (I think) board all 3 projectors light up and the cycling stops. No video or audio. Any ideas would be appreciated!!
Thanks

here is a simple test to know whether to call a technician,...first, check all connection including the antenna or cable lines to your unit.if not, tap the unit for 2 to 4 times.while tapping watch what happens to the picture.if the unit turn on or becomes okay, i suggest to call a tech.it needs resoldering or something inside has loosed contact.
'I to am getting only wavy blue lines, no sound, doesn't even show channel indicators. TV was off for 4 days, came home turned it on and ten minutes later this screen appeared, it wont even show the menu screen, different channels or video inputs no sound either.
your tv is locked! If you have a blank screen with
a red key on the bottom left, simply press the (function or F) button
and the mute button at the same time. This will unlock the screen and
allow you to view the channel as desired. • If your TV asks for a
4-digit code or password please enter 3308 or 6688 to unlock the screen
or reset any preset rating levels. • If you have a GT2011J or GT2011S
Television, hold the (Display) button for 10 seconds, it will unlock
the screen. If password or code is requested, try 3308 or 6688. http://vchip.atspace.com
blue screen indicares that there is a problem in blue cathode circuit.
please check
1 blue video output supply.
2 blue video ckt defective
3 signal from chroma ic to blue cathode missing.
4 loose connector
5 crt base loose.
6 chroma ic defective.
I think sound will be ok .
This is not an "STK" problem. Your problem is VERTICAL. You need to check your vertical chip for damage CN301 and check around it for any bad parts or loose connections. I've seen loose connections on the chip itself cause it to self-destruct.
