I keep receiving an error that says "this program could not detect USB cable." I tried a different port, tried turning off all programs that were running, and everything in users manual. Can someone give me some advice on how to fix this. Thanks
Uninstall all the software you just installed and do not connect the usb device until you again run the install from OZ-590A CD. When it does not find a USB device then connect USB and it should detect it. If you don't do it in that order you won't get a connection. It should come up on COM7.

Cannot detect the USB cable on Dell Laptop running Vista. Tried uninstalling then reinstalling and plugging cable into different USB ports. Same result, "Program cannot detect the USB cable."
Same exact problem. I tried several times to uninstall/reinstall, in the proper sequence (as instructed in the one solution here), and nothing works. Keep getting the same message.
Same thing with the message cannot find usb. Then it tells me to insert a USB diskette, what is that about?
