I digicam that is Waterproof???? Don't believe that - unless it is in a housing. I suggest you dump this camera and get another and do not get it wet Wet and cameras don't mix This review does not mention a waterproof feature. http://www.digicamreview.co.uk/olympus_camedia_c725_review.htm

I'm looking for an Olympus D-620L SmartMedia card reader

This memory card is known as an 'SM' type of card. Sadly this format is now obsolete and is not in general use like the now common 'SD' type. If you hunt around you can find a general purpose multicard reader that will take various different types of memory card. These are usually cheap to buy and more useful as it can read more than one card type. Something like the link below should do the job. Make sure any you look at have 'SM' or 'Smart Media' in the description.

Sd card reader sdhc slot sandisk

Older Card readers do not read SDHC memory cards. If the card reader is built in then you probably cannot do anything about it, but you can buy a new USB Card reader to read the card.

I have Microsoft Windows Xp Home Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 3. My USB port cannot read the card it is blank. The Camedia software cannot pull up anything, and Walgreens Kiosk cannot read the card...

I have good news and bad news. The good news is: I can solve your problem! The bad news is: those 17 different types of card do not include yours... almost certainly a SDHC. You need to get a card reader that specifically says that it does SDHC. I've seen USB stick adapter ones for $2.00 in the "dollar store".

My old memory card all of a sudden reads unusable, So i bought a new one...and it still says unusable... what do i do? I have only had the camera for 4 months

Try putting the new memory card into the camera and format the card. If the camera doesn't accept that it has a memory card turn the camera off remove the battery and then after about ten seconds put the battery back in and turn it on and see if you can format the new card again. You should always format the memory cards in the camera, even though there is a delete for single images leave them on the card and format the card. Always format the card in the camera not the computer.
By deleting single images in on the card while in the camera it sets up little partitions and pretty soon the memory card is rendered useless. Formatting in the computer writes a little program to the card which the camera can not read.

How will i remove the write protect from the memory card?

plug the card reader to your PC, insert the card. Now open My computer, you will see your card as " removable disk (some drive letter)", right click on the icon and go to properties , uncheck "read only"
you are done. If you still cant write anything to it, Format it.

Memory card cannot read by digital camera.

Sounds like you will need to format the memory card. This will permanently erase all the data from the card and then you will be able to use it again. To format the card: Press the Menu button - right arrow to Setup - go to format option- You will see format yes or no. Choose Yes and press ok. This will clear the write protect message and the card can be used again.
