Sound issues and answersA VERY SHORT LIST OF ISSUES AND ANSWERS-

sound on set or a box muted or turned down?

speakers inside the set (see menu) switchedon or off?

internal/external switch somewhere in or on back of set?

Clearly it could be a audio problem (a model number?) but explore all here thatyou have not already done--make sure theremote set to TV and look for a button on it marked MTS and if there cycle it.

You can also determine if same trouble when you play a DVD. (IF SOUND WORKS VIAREAR INPUTS IT IS A SETTING IN THE TV OR THE BOX.

On remote hit 'menu' then select 'AUDIO' (on left side) then scroll down to 'ADVANCED AUDIO' then down to TV SPEAKERS and make sure it says ON. (if says off, just press over and it should change to ON)

My 2001 pt cruiser will stop running and then a litle while loner it will start and go again but not for to long. Changed the serptine belt and that didnt help

A problem like that sounds like the ignition coil overheats/quits after time. So after it dies, check for spark on the plug wires as someone is cranking the engine. (pull wire off and hold end next to ground and see and hear a spark)

Blower work fine but still dont get no heat or defrosters could use some help thank you

It sounds like your heater controls are not working. They are usually operated by a vacume line. check under dash passenger side behind glove box for the vacume line disconected ps check engine side first its easier. if vacume line is good chech vacum at heater box their is a meatel vacume unit that opens and closes the heat and defrost doors. if your heat is only comeing out of the defrosters The doors under the dash are not opening and closeing. ChecK the metal vacume unit . A vacume pump can be purshed at parts store some have a loner program.

Volume stuck on mute

I don't think you're stuck on mute I think you're having problems with your sound card. Go to device manager; if there is a yellow or red sign on sound then right click and try reinstall driver. Let me know if you have any questions. Pls rate this solution.
